Lovely summery jam, scented with fresh herbs!
1 kg strawberries
500 g jam sugar 2:1
½ bunch of basil
Pinch of salt
Wash the strawberries, remove stems and halve. Put the fruit and jam sugar into a pot, bring to the boil and leave to simmer for a few minutes. Wash the basil leaves, cut into thin strips and stir into the strawberries. Add a pinch of salt, and fill into jars when still hot.
